November: A Summary

First, I will apologize, once October starts the craziness begins! So, that being said... Here is a brief round up of our November. Enjoy!
Story time with Meme and the fairy.
Schatzie's new hair cut.
Our visit to Philly to see the Maxons. First we went to the apple farm for some apple picking with the girls.
Sophie showing me one of her prizes... a big, juicy apple!
The girls being silly!
Show me your apples!
I really think they did more running in the orchard than they did picking the apples... Oh well, we all had fun anyway!
On the hayride back to the car.
Up to NJ for a barn party and checking out the horses.
On the night time hayride... It was fun but it was REALLY cold!!
Looks like everyone is ready for the games on Sunday!
We headed home early because Ell needed to get some rest and I had the Free to Breathe Yogathon that afternoon.

The next weekend we were plagued with not only a respiratory cold but also one of the worst ear infections that poor Ell has ever had. She was house bound for nearly 5 days but I am happy to report that she is doing much, much better... we will be going back to the doctor's office to check her ears sometime in mid-late December... Keep your fingers crossed!

Saturday afternoon downtown.
Going to the MD Science Center.
Ell's first visit to the Planetarium... It was a success!!
We love the planets!
Ell told me all about the planets earlier that day... Pluto, planet Earth, and planet Saturday.
I love it!!
Ell on a bed of nails... didn't hurt at all!
Checking out the bones.
Oh no! Either there was something wrong with my camera or it is a 2-headed Ellie monster!!
Ell and the giant crab.
Ell and her pin face.
checking out the pendulum balls.
Ell and the T-Rex.
Ooohhh... It is a giant Stegosaurus.
Out in front of the MD Science Center... What a beautiful day!

Ell showing off her recycled doll.
Happy Thanksgiving... there was a bit of silliness at the end of the table!
The PJ party after dinner... Buzz Lightyear, Sassy Kitty, and yes, Super Girl!
Tangled in 3D on Black Friday.
Silliness!
Ellie squared at lunch after the movie.

Speaking of Santa... HERE HE IS!!!

End of October...

Making caramel apples with Meme.

MESSY PARTY!!!
And boy, it sure was messy!
Andrew being cleaned off after they attacked each other with chocolate, jell-o, and noodles.
Nothing like a hand full of liquid chocolate... Yum!
Two messy, messy girls eating the only cake you should have at a messy party... Dirt Cake!
Who is 5??
WE ARE!!!
Three snug bugs in a rug!
Ell playing outside on a pretty fall afternoon.
Pumpkin carving... Ell drew the faces and I did the cutting. This is her witch.
Ell and the biggest pumpkin.
What a girly girl... she would not put her hands in the 'stringy stuff' because it is yucky-gross!
Our finished pumpkins... So spooky!!
Ellie and Schatzie... Or should I say a pink unicorn with a princess and a bumble bee princess.
Me and my girls just before the Halloween fun begins!
Ell and I

Earlier in the car, Ell and I were talking about Ghostbusters. She told me that they had the song at school so thinking that it was the same Ghostbusters song that I know...
MB: When there's something strange in your neighborhood. Who ya gonna call?
Ell: 911.
Ell: Mommy, why are you laughing?
MB: Because your answer was so much better than what I was looking for. You are awesome, dude!
Ell at the neighborhood pot luck... Behind her is a spooky graveyard.
Two princesses
Trick or treating
Ell and Meme on a cold Halloween night!
Ell and I... She got bored about 2/3s of the way through the neighborhood but she picked up the pace once we got closer to home. Some neighbors made her 'work' for the treat so she scared them... BOO! I was so proud of her, she was actually talking this year. She said "Happy Halloween" or "Trick or treat" to each house and made sure to say "thank you" to everyone. She sure raked in some loot too... I wonder how long we will have all of this candy??
