This is Ellie's daily report. Notice the bottom... "Ellis is doing a super job with letter writing!!"
Way to go kiddo!!
Way to go kiddo!!
Ellie playing with her new science toys from Chick-Fil-A.
Post bath grins!
The days are getting shorter... Sun set on the way home from school.
More fun with science toys!
In church on Sunday Ellie was practicing her letters. She would write them randomly then asked me what they spelled. This was one of her words... "Holla!"
Ellie found her belt in the back of her dresser drawer the other day and wanted to wear it. I told her she had to have something with belt loops in it to go with her belt, like jeans. And just like that, after 2 years on jeans-refusal, the anti-jeans Ellie changed her tune and promised to wear jeans if she got some. Well, the next day we went to Kohl's and Ellie got two new pairs of jeans... faded ones and another pair that is dark rinse with butterflies on the pockets.
Ellie modeling her new jeans with her red cowgirl boots in the dressing room... She had to wear them out of the store, of course!
Ellie showing me she knows how to wink. Or as she says, "I can close one eye!"
Close up of the wink.
Give a child a pile of leaves, she can jump only a few times. But teach a child to rake and she can fluff her own pile of leaves back into shape! But no matter what... make sure the rake is out of reach when the jumping begins!
Here she comes....
Crash!
She sure liked jumping in the leaves!
Ellie at BWI waiting for our flight. This was the first plane ride that she remembered.
Excited for take-off
Some of the CHP group on Friday night.
MB, Jones, and Andrea... Sat evening
Ellie and Grandpa at Mimi's Cafe on Sunday before we left to go back home.
Ellie with her orange smile. What a goof!
