Well, about 2 weeks left till Christmas day and Ellie can hardly wait. There are carols being sung, cookies are being baked, trees being decorated, and snow was even falling! Its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...
Ell decorating her 3ft pepto-pink Christmas tree.
Beautiful pink tree with ornaments and lime green trimmings.
The finished product... Nativity set and all.
Ellie's Christmas program... It was fantastic! They sang a Rudolph-type song about their class getting ready for the program and Christmas and an adorable song about snow.
"Snow flakes falling from the sky,
From the sky,
From the sky,
Snow flakes falling from the sky to the earth below.
Watch them as they dance and whirl,
Dance and whirl,
Dance and whirl,
Watch them as they dance and whirl to the earth below."
They really did a fantastic job and they got so animated... I am so proud of the great job they did and all of their practice!
This was as close as Ellie would get to the big man that night!
Saturday afternoon Ellie and Grandpa sit on the hotel floor and read with her new TAG reading system. She caught on really fast!
Snuggles and cuddles on a cold Saturday afternoon.
More cuddles and snuggles with Grandma.
Ellie was so cozy she drifted off for a little nap.
Off to Hampden to see the lights...
Jer was truly excited because of his fantastic parallel parking job with the pilot! Yay Jer!!
Grandma and Ellie hugging the sweater covered tree on the way to the lights.
We passed a shoe and chocolate store... Really, do you need anything else?
Ellie and I (sporting my fabulous new hat from Ell) getting ready to walk down 34th street.
Grandma with her earmuffs on and Grandpa armed with his video recorder are ready to see the sights.
Ellie in awe!
Loving the lights!
Ellie and I behind Santa. What an awesome surprise!!
On some one's front steps... Grandpa, Grandma, Ellie, and I
Cheek to cheek and lovin' it!
On a rainy Sunday we met the girls at the movies to see The Princess and the Frog. It was a great movie despite the scary voodoo and Bad Magic Man. The girls loved it!
Ellie and Ellie starting on their snacks before the movie.
Kiley and Beth... It was Kiley's first movie in the theater. She did great!!
The 2 Es on the way to lunch. I swear they are sisters from other mothers!!
It is a Kiley sandwich!
Papoo and Ellie snuggled up on that same rainy Sunday watching the Ravens WIN!! Woo-hoo!!
