February 18th-25th...
Daddy and Grandma came up to B-more to visit just in time to enjoy some (yes, just some) of our snow. It was a low key and laid-back weekend but that was alright with everyone!
Ellie and Grandma
Those silly and sassy girls!
Noodle-heads enjoying noodles, Lady and the Tramp style!
Ellie and her new hotel friend, Emily.
Hanging out in the pool.

Showing off her newest sassy outfit thanks to Grandma!
I swear the pose matches the clothes!
Thursday, February 25th...
Ellie and I played hookie from work and school one Thursday afternoon to go check out the new Curious George exhibit at Port Discovery.
It was AWESOME!!!
Ellie and one of her buddies, Curious George!

Ellie and a showcase of some cool Curious George stuff through the years!
Ringing up produce.
George, Ellie, and I
So, the fascination with the phone is in full swing!
Seriously though, she was quite taken with the old style of phone. She had lots of fun playing with the dial.
She took me for a drive in the play car... Even after a play car ride I really hope that 16 takes its time getting here. Please!!
Making umbrellas in the craft room.
Saturday, February 27th...
Saturday's dance class was moved from the usual room to the racquetball court so I was able to take some sneaky photos! I was sly like a spy!!
They hardly even noticed I was on the other side of the glass!
Just kidding... Once Ellie realized I was there I had to get up and move out of sight so she would pay attention to her teacher!
After dance we headed down to a playdate with the Marrs and the Osters. The kids played and played! One of the only times they were actually sitting still was when they were eating.
Here Andrew is enjoying a strawberry.
And so is Erica but don't worry, she is wearing pants. I wish I could say that for the whole day... She has turned into quite a streaker, as long as she isn't still doing that at 15 I think she will be ok!
Now Robert just looks like he is planning his escape!
And Maddie just looks like she is just taking in all of these crazy kids. You can almost see the thought, "You mean I am actually related to all of these kids?!?!" running through her head!
And then there was Ellie, of course!
Sunday, February 28th...
Ellie and Genny just being silly, silly girls!!
Carey and I just about 3 weeks before baby Alex's arrival!
Carey and I with those silly girls.
Ellie taking Baby Uncle Bob and Aurora out for a walk for their birthday.
Heading home for some birthday cake!
Saturday, March 6th...
Casey's, one of her class mates, birthday was at the fire house.
Ellie and I got to take a ride on the fire engine in the background.
The kids got a tour around the fire house and got to see all of the vehicles.
While waiting for the fire engine rides they got to explore the ambulance.
Here comes the fire engine from one of the rides.
Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company
It was our turn for the ride. This fire fighter talked to us on the ride and told us all about the equipment and gadgets.
Joelle, Takara, and Ellie
Ellie and her friend, Julia.
Joelle and Ellie but the house on fire.
Ellie even got to shoot the fire hose and the house on fire... Super cool!!
Inside and after lunch they got a fire safety talk.
They also got to watch a fire fighter get dressed in all of his gear with his mask, tank, and all. Then all of the kids gave him hugs and high-5s! Fire fighters are cool (and not scary)!
Ellie and Noah being super silly during cupcake time!
Pinata Time!!!
Ellie and all of her loot!
Saturday afternoon the weather was way too nice to go inside so we were off to the park!
We went bike riding on the trails.
And yes, that is a pile of snow behind her that still hasn't melted! Go away snow!!
Ellie on the sliding board.
I just so happened to have our kite in the trunk and it was a perfect day for flying a kite!!
She was a natural... I think it only hit the ground once!
Here she is flying with her kite!
We went home and played hopscotch with Baby Uncle Bob. Lucky for him, he has a hard head!
Ellie showing off her stuff!
Sunday, March 7th...
the other Ellie had a Princess Luncheon for her 5th birthday. All of the girls dressed in their finest dresses and the big event was making cookie castles.
Cathy and Joelle with their Candy Kingdom.
Ellie and her Sugar Castle, Ellie and I were rather competitive in our building. Actually, I have to admit, I was the competitive one, Ellie just sat there licking icing and eating candy while I built the walls. She did the decorating though!!
Ellie and her Florida style Cookie Castle. This one definitely won for size... We all decided that it is a Princess Community.
Chris and Ellie with their masterpiece.
All of the participants... Joelle, Ellie, Sam, and Ellie
Happy 5th birthday Ellie!!
After all of the sugar from candy and cupcakes, and the pizza they all retired to the basement for what else? Princess movies!!
